GTT join hands with the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS)

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS), has announced its plans to set up a centre for Services Excellence,
in partnership with GTT & EABS. The centre will jointly conduct research and offer multi-disciplinary academic programs in India. The two new academic programs will be launched from the academic year 2011-2012.

Among the first courses to be launched are Advanced Program in Information Assurance leading to a Masters of Engineering from UCCS which will be jointly offered by the College of Engineering
and Applied Science at UCCS and GTT and Certified Program in Services Marketing that has been developed specially by the college of business, at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS). The UCCS has provided the academic back-up for these programs in terms of designing the course and faculty training, among other things.
 
GTT provides Industrial exposure to the students of J&K under the ‘Talent Valley Project’

Under the ‘Talent Valley Project’, an initiative undertaken by GTT to train 5000 students of the University of Kashmir in 5 years, 300 students were presently undergoing training this year while 28 of them have already been placed. Names like Mphasis, Cognizant, Zensar, Accenture and WNS participated in the process and came through with the best offers.

There were 90 students who were in the Pune city for a month undertaking several programs to enhance their professional and soft skills. The second batch comprising of both boys and girls, learned that the course has upgraded their knowledge and made them even more confident.

GTT trained them on IT software, Business Intelligence, Finance
& Accounting, Customer Service, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and Retail.
